Gossip Girl star Kristen Bell is launching her vegan skincare brand in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide.

The star’s brand Happy Dance features CBD-infused products such as a bath bomb, body butter, and an ‘all-purpose coconut melt’. Products will hit shelves from March 15, with prices starting from $15.

Kristen Bell interview

Bell told Forbes the partnership with Ulta will help the brand reach more people. She said: “Accessibility means two things.

“It means a price point that you can afford, but it also means availability on a shelf where you can purchase it at a store near you. So, the partnership with Ulta is what makes that dream a reality.”

The star also praised the new stockist for helping to ‘shine a light’ on Happy Dance’s charitable partner: the New Way of Life Reentry Project – which helps women rebuild their lives after prison. As well as ‘aid communities disproportionally affected by marijuana-related offenses’.

She said: “It was not lost on me that the BIPOC community has been adversely affected for marijuana-based crimes throughout history.

“And, because CBD is pulled from the same strand of the hemp plant, we thought it was the perfect chance to donate one percent of profits back to this amazing organization.

“The Ulta launch is going to make this a brand that is sustainable for Miss Burton’s philanthropic endeavors.”

Celebrity vegan skincare

Bell isn’t the only celeb to launch a vegan skincare brand. Last year, celebrity singer Pharrell Williams launched his genderless brand Humanrace.

The 47-year-old’s line consists of a rice powder cleanser, lotus enzyme exfoliator, and humidifying cream moisturizer. Prices range from $32-$48.
