Vegan Women Summit (VWS) has announced the launch of its virtual gathering series, following the success of its sell-out event back in February.
The online series will feature interactive web events from female leaders to ‘build a positive space for candid conversation and shared learning and support’.
Entrepreneurs including Miyoko Schinner, Tabitha Brown and Suzy Amis Cameron will feature on the series to ‘discuss topics including empowering women’s entrepreneurship and innovation to supporting women’s health through plant-based diets’.
‘Compassionate female changemakers’
According to VegWorld Magazine, Jennifer Stojkovic, Founder of VWS, said: “The sold-out Vegan Women Summit debut in San Francisco this past February launched a long-awaited and energized global community of compassionate female changemakers from all walks of life.
“While the current state of the pandemic has prevented us from continuing to launch events in-person, we’re thrilled to be hosting the VWS Virtual Gathering series and creating an exciting online space for women to learn from leaders in their industry.
“Our mission at VWS is to inspire, educate, and empower compassionate female professionals and now, more than ever is the time for this crucial work to be done.”
The first virtual gathering is hosted by Maggie Baird, a longtime vegan activist, and mother of celebrity singer Billie Eilish, and Nicole Marquis.
You can reserve a space for the session, which starts at 12 pm (PST) on April 12
