In this exclusive Plant Based News video, Mic The Vegan tackles 51 high-speed questions – debunking the carnivore diet in one minute along the way.

The vegan science YouTuber, who hails from the Midwest, visited the UK last Summer for Vegan Camp Out.

During his trip, he visited Team PBN, and tackled some burning questions during this interview with PBN’s Klaus Mitchell.

Vegan news

During the video, Mic revealed how much work goes into one of his research-heavy videos, what he would be doing if he wasn’t a YouTuber, why he’s building a tiny house, and which vegan news stories excite him.

“Every time I see one of these super mainstream fast-food restaurants throwing down some vegan alternative that’s super inspiring just in terms of the widespread nature of it.

“In the small town in Iowa that I live in, just seeing a sign saying ‘100 percent vegan burger’ at Burger King, it’s finally hitting every corner of the Western world it seems like. So that’s huge.”

Carnivore diet

Mitchell also asked Mic to debunk the carnivore diet where adherents eat predominantly red meat, and only animal products.

Mic said: “In terms of how much research there is, and how much risk there is by going on either a vegan or carnivore diet, we  have a massive tome, a super thick volume of vegan research to what I would compare to a trifold, pretty much non-existent research and anecdotes on the carnivore diet.

“So if you care about science, on the carnivore diet, you’re definitely experimenting on yourself with foods that we know cause cancer and clog your arteries. I think it’s pretty compelling.”
